The Journey of the Non-Fiction Writer. We are living in a time where there is a great explosion of interest in spiritual ideas and philosophies. Over the past decade there has been a corresponding increase in the number of films, events, CD’s and books being produced that contains a key spiritual, self-help, or personal growth theme or message. Just as many are being drawn to read such books there is an increasing number being drawn also to write books with a spiritual, self-help, or personal growth theme or message. If you want to share this journey to write a book then you are committing yourself to a powerful journey. This journey will change you in some way and potentially open doors for you that were not there before. This journey will be challenging and joyful. It is my privilige and joy to share this journey with you.
My Passion For Books. Ever since I can remember I have loved books. From an early age I was often to be found in libraries. As a teenager I was interested in spiritual books. This love of books certainly continues in my current work. For the past 20 years I have explored many different spiritual paths and traditions as diverse as Sufism, to Wicca, to Shamanism to Channelling. In that time I trained in many different systems of metaphysics, healing and channelling.
As a Book Promoter I Can Help You. In 2000 I became a director of Alternatives, a not for profit organisation based in St. James’s Church, Piccadilly, London that promotes authors and teachers in self-help; personal development and spirituality. In that time I have read and assessed hundreds of books for the Alternatives programme and been present to a great number of talks. I have also met and interviewed countless successful authors on their work - including Michael Beckwith, Tony Buzan, Julie Cameron, Debbie Ford, Robert Holden, Byron Katie, Bruce Lipton, Caroline Myss, and Marianne Williamson.
As a Published Author I Can Help You. I am myself an author of three published mind body spirit books with three different publishers. And I am currently writing my fourth book which is called Become a Spiritual Writer. I am also a speaker and workshop facilitator and so I understand the book business both from the point of view of writer and promoter.
As an Experienced Coach I Can Help You. I help people who want to write a non-fiction (spiritual, self-help, or personal growth) book. As a coach I can help you from start to finish in your writing process and book project. I can help you:
Coaching/Presenting Experience - I have trained in various kinds of coaching and I am a Master NLP Business Practitioner. Most of my clients are creative people and include writers and potential writers. As an author I understand the writing process. As a director of Alternatives I understand the book business from the promotional/marketing point of view.
Book Title Optimisation - Please note that this is a seperate process and is quite specialised. Very few people are trained in this particular method. This procesdure is based on decoding your soul's blueprint through your birth name and ensures that the vibration/numerology of your book title is in synch with who you are, what you are trying to acheive, and who you want to attract with your book. This process usually takes two coaching sessions to complete. The first helps you get clear on your own soul mission/destiny and the second optimises your book title in line with your destiny and desired outcome. I now always use this process in my own writing projects.
Booking Sessions - I see clients either face to face in Cemtral London or on the phone/Skype. A session lasts for an hour and a half. I cover everything including book title optimisation.
